About

I am an international educator with five years’ experience teaching in Mexico and Colombia. I discovered my passion for Latin America and the Spanish language while living and working in these culturally-rich locations.

I lived in Mexico from 2012 to 2013 in the beautiful state of Jalisco, on the pacific coast. From 2014 to 2018, I lived on the coast of Colombia, where I traveled extensively and fell in love with the people, music, culture, and food of this magical country.

In 2018, I left Colombia and returned to the United States. I currently work in a bilingual Spanish position with the State of California.

In August 2020, I completed the Oxford TEFL Barcelona program through Trinity College London towards a diploma in the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

When I’m not working, traveling, or studying, I enjoy riding my vintage Vespa and staying connected with friends around the world.
