About

I am an international educator with five years’ experience teaching in Mexico and Colombia. I discovered my passion for Latin America and the Spanish language while living and working in these culturally-rich locations.

I lived in Mexico from 2012 to 2013 in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta, in the beautiful state of Jalisco. From 2014 to 2018, I lived in Cartagena and Barranquilla, on the coast of Colombia, where I traveled extensively and fell in love with the people, music, culture, and food of this magical country.

In 2018, I returned to the United States, where I currently work in a bilingual Spanish position with the State of California.

I recently completed the Oxford TEFL Barcelona program through Trinity College London towards a diploma in the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

When I’m not working, traveling, or studying, I enjoy riding my vintage Vespa and staying connected with friends around the world.
